Medical Information: Estrofem« was especially developed and indicated for the treatment of oestrogen deficiency symptoms in women without a uterus with effective symptom relief and good tolerability (continuous therapy with calendar pack of 28 tablets containing 1mg 17b-oestradiol). As there is no increased risk of developing cancer of the uterus lining in women without a uterus they need not to take an additional progestogen.
